Patricia Arriola
Visual artist · Queretaro, Mexico
About
Visual artist with more than three decades of continuous practice centered on sculpture, printmaking, and painting. Her early training in San Miguel de Allende (1990s) has evolved through an uninterrupted process of studio research — from direct acid etching and experimental lithography to photogravure, Hikidashi and Raku ceramics, and ceramic enamel on clay and stone.
Her sculpture Mugartegui is part of the permanent collection of the Museo de Arte de Querétaro. In 2020 she received First Prize at the international printmaking competition Hommage à Trois (Associació Duana de les Arts, Barcelona), and in 2026 she was selected for the Enzo di Martino International Contemporary Printmaking Award (Casa Falconieri, Cagliari, Italy). Her work explores the body, memory, and matter at the intersection of sculpture, graphic arts, and literature.
